The Domestic Gas Safety On Site Guide is split into two-parts – Part 1 provides guidance on core gas safety issues including but not limited to: legislation, emergency actions, combustion, ventilation, pipework,tightness testing and purging, regulators, Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure, gas rating, safety devices and controls, flueing/chimney standards,establishing gas supplies and labels and notices.

Part 2 of the manual deals with gas appliances, including:central heating boilers, cookers, warm air heaters, space heaters, water heaters, tumble dryers and leisure appliances. In addition, Part 2 also deals with gas meters and atmosphere sampling for CO and CO2.
